Get Ready... Get Set...Go...
If you want to get a head start on becoming a German Super Star *, you can collect your 10 German class supplies now and bring them to school on the first day of class!
You can even complete your first project, called the CULTURE project, at home. The video instructions and the worksheets are online. Just pay a small website registration fee. Click here to begin!
Here's what you will need on the first day of school:
1. 2 inch, green, 3-ring binder (unless you are a Pre-IB student, then
buy a black one)
2. any color 3-ring pencil pouch
3. a pencil that is red on the inside and the outside (in the accounting
section of an office supply store, like Office Depot)
4. a black pen or pencil
5. a wooden clothespin with your last name written on it
6. a small photo of yourself
7. several sheets of looseleaf paper
8. computer headphones with a microphone to record your voice
9. a plastic ziplock bag to fit your headphones
10. your RHS student number and your RHS pin number (it will be printed
on your schedule)

German Super Star = A student who completes and gets all 6 projects scored, during the 8 week work period.
Students who can do this for both quarters in one semester, earn an automatic 100% on their midterm or final without even taking the semester exam!!!
Super Stars may surf the web and play online games or study for other tests while everyone else sweats through the tough German midterm or final.
