This is a fun, easy and inexpensive student exchange program that German students may join in the spring when they host a German teenager in their home. Second year and advanced RHS German students may choose to visit their new German friend for 2 weeks in the summer in Germany.
The only cost if you are only hosting a German student, but not sending your child abroad, is to include your exchange student in your family meals. If your child is eligable to go to Germany, the only cost is their airfare and spending money for souvenirs and snacks.
